This week I don't have a photoshoot until the weekend, so since I've been on the go with photoshoots for the past two weeks, and having a photoshoot pretty much every other day it was nice to take a break in one of my favorite mountain ranges. I knew I wanted to do something relaxing, but also adventurous and active. So I decided to take my dogs up to Big Bear Lake to play some fetch, walk around, and sit back and enjoy the view. We got up pretty early, hit the road and began our journey to the mountains. The original plan was to go to the North Shore dock at Big Bear Lake, but because it was on Monday and it's the off-season it was closed. However the good thing about Big Bear Lake is that you can pretty much drive along the lake shore, pull up anywhere, park (as long as you have an adventure pass of course), and walk right down to the beach. The weather was close to perfect with partly cloudy skies and a nice breeze that gave you a little bit of a chill. I brought along some of the dogs favorite toys which include anything that squeaks, especially Kong tennis balls, as well as some of their favorite treats like beef chews from Best Bully Sticks, Organik-9 Coconut & Peanut Butter Bars, Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Venison treats, along with many others. Because I have been so busy with photoshoots I decided to leave my camera at home, but of course being a photographer I just couldn't resist not having some form of camera with me, so I brought my Gopro 4 Silver to capture our day. We arrived at around 8:40 AM and spent the morning playing fetch, hunting lizards (If you were Rylee), walking along the shore and in Lenox's case trying his hardest to go swim and say hi to some ducks. We packed up ate lunch on the road and headed home. It was a perfect little break.
